Geboren und aufgewachsen in Edinburgh, arbeitete ich 17 Jahre lang als Reporterin, Feature-Autorin und Kinoredakteurin für The Scotsman und schrieb anschließend regelmäßig für den Guardian und die London Times. Ich habe mehrere Bücher geschrieben und herausgegeben, darunter „The Times on Cinema“ und „On Location – The Film Fan's Guide to Britain and Ireland“.

This was an amazing, amazing tour. It is advertised as a movies, books and TV tour. It covered all of these topics, and a whole lot more. We learnt about the history, politics and religion of the region. The conversation was varied, and ranged from contemporary pop culture like the Avengers, to the importance of Walter Scott to the city. Brian was also happy to answer questions about other things, and had ready recommendations for what to do in town. Would wholeheartedly recommend.
