Despite the rain, the trip was very nice and informative. Bill shared a lot about the city's history and its remarkable development. He also narrated his own story from the perspective of a Shanghai citizen. He showed us the skyscrapers and old-fashioned Shanghai buildings. He was very willing to answer the tourists' different questions.

Absolutely 5 star for this free guided walking tour in Shanghai! I have done many free guided walking tours and this one rates highly. Everything was perfect. The tour, the content, around 4 hours visiting many interesting places, and the best tour guide Dinna! And comes with a plus: not only English, Dinna speaks Spanish very fluently, so it was an extra for her being super helpful to our group!

We thoroughly enjoyed the walking tour with Marine. Apart from the very interesting historical information Marine shared with us, she also answered all of our questions about Chinese culture, customs and where to eat in Shanghai. The two hours flew by... Thank you Marine! Would definitely recommend this tour if you're interested in culture and history.

After the Shanghai city tour with Dinna, I joined her for this French Concession tour too. Both experiences were truly exceptional!
