Ciao, mi chiamo Ana. Sono una storica, restauratrice d'arte e recentemente una guida turistica. Durante il mio periodo al collega ho scritto libri sulla Dalmazia e Spalato. Ho anche fatto il restauro di famosi monumenti di Spalato: la statua di Grgur Ninski, il mausoleo di Diocleziano, il portale del palazzo Augubio ecc. Recentemente ho ottenuto una licenza di guida turistica e sarei molto felice di condividere le mie conoscenze con le persone che visitano la mia città natale.
Ana was great, fun & very knowledgeable. We saw the major parts of the palace & she shared insights on how the area was affected by war, tourism and UNESCO’s protection. I found this to be the best part - learning from a local the influences of history.
Ana was a really good guide with a quirky sense of humour. We enjoyed her delivery. It's a difficult balancing act giving the right amount of information and we would have been happy with even more historical detail but that might not have appealed to others. Overall, Ana does a great job.
The walking tour with Ana was an a great experience. Her enthusiasm and energy were truly infectious, making the tour both engaging and enjoyable from start to finish. Ana is very knowledgeable about the area, providing insightful and interesting information at every stop. Her positive attitude and friendly demeanor made everyone in the group feel welcomed and included. Additionally, her recommendations for local restaurants and ice cream spots were fantastic. I followed her suggestions and was not disappointed – they truly enhanced my overall experience. Thank you, Ana, for an unforgettable tour. We have done a number of these tours and we have to say this was not our favourite. Ana is enthusiastic and tries to be amusing but we didn’t really like her style. Maybe it improved but we quit the tour after half an hour, and followed a self-guided tour on our phones. We were the second couple to leave.
