Hello, my name is Jose Antonio, I am from Guadix and I would like to show my town to the whole world!!! I am passionate about teaching my city and telling its controversial and interesting history through its monuments. I have experience in the sector as a guide, and at the same time I have a Degree in History, a Master's Degree in Ibero-American Studies and a B2 level of English.
Guadix is so old and noble that it is considered one of the oldest cities in Spain. This means that cultures that have disappeared today have settled on its current site.
A good reason to visit Guadix is to feel surrounded by its landscape, a landscape that rises from the green of the Valley to the ocher of the clay. The first thing the traveler perceives is the majestic tower of its cathedral which, facing the winter white of the Sierra Nevada, greets all who arrive from all roads.
