Hi, I am Jeen a passionate traveller and freelance city walk tour guide based in Nairobi. I take pride of the beautiful city of Nairobi and I love showing or guiding guest on the streets of the city sharing it's history by walking on the streets and visiting monuments. I call it "The City We Assume" because the city of Nairobi has a lot of history attached to it. Nairobi has long been seen as a transit city for visitors coming to Kenya for their holidays, but it is its own destination with much to offer.
On the free city tour, I take heritage people to walk the streets of this beautiful "green city in the sun" sharing how it came to be what it is today. We will walk through the streets visiting monuments, and historical places such as buildings. (If you wish we can visit several museums in the center of the city).
Itinerary:
We shall walk on Kimathi Street, Kenyatta Avenue then, Biashara Street, Loita Street, City hallway, and back to Kimathi Street.
Kindly note: coffee breaks and shopping can be done by request
The main meeting point is at the "Old Hilton Hotel", outside the BATA shoe store, and ends at Mama Ngina street
