A great and informative tour. Very friendly and answered all questions. Told us about his family history and his grandfather being a tour guide as well! A credit to the city - showed us some beautiful sites. Would recommend

I was the only one doing the tour, which I thought was gonna be a bit uncomfortable, but it turned out amazing! Maks is simply a very kind person. Her English is excellent and she really knew her stuff, I learned a lot. At the same time, she also showed interest in me and my culture, which I specifically appreciated. Based on my experience, she's been the first guide not asking me to write a review. I really respected that, it motivated me even more to write a review anyways.

Fayz is a super nice, knowledgable, and interesting guide. He checked beforehand to make sure we would find the right spot to start. He had a cool route planned that lead us through the major sights of the old town. At every stop he had some fascinating stories to tell. He speaks super good English and we very much liked his (talking) pace. He made sure people can follow him and also could answer any question we had in ample detail. He also has great photographer skills and of course made sure we were always in the shade. Book a tour with Fayz if you want to get a great overview of the city!

Ravshan war ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Guide, der uns in gut verständlichem Englisch seine Stadt und deren bewegte Geschichte näher gebracht hat. Seine Ergänzungen mit historischen Bildern hat das Ganze sehr plastisch und abgerundet gemacht. Eine Tour mit ihm ist wirklich empfehlenswert 👍🏾

Makes is local lday and fluent with English. She has worked in a Govt musium and has good knowledge of central Asian history and culture. MAKS is very professional and conducts here well

I can highly recommend this free walking tour with Maks. The tour lasted almost four hours, but it never felt long because it was packed with fascinating information and stories about the history of Bukhara and the wider region. Maks is an excellent guide who is clearly passionate about her city and does a fantastic job of bringing its history to life. She shared a wealth of knowledge while keeping the tour engaging and easy to follow, making the time fly by. What made the experience even more memorable for me was that Maks was the first female free walking tour guide I have ever had. She was professional, knowledgeable, and a wonderful storyteller, and she handled the tour exceptionally well. If you are visiting Bukhara and want to gain a deeper understanding of its rich history and culture, I can definitely recommend joining one of Maks’ tours.

Laziz was AMAZING!! It was an excellent tour and definitely a must for anyone visiting Bukhara. I would 100% recommend! He was definitely the best tour guide I have had in Uzbekistan. Extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and funny with a lot of great personal opinions and anecdotes. Not only was the tour itself great, he gave so many recommendations for our next days in Bukhara, from food to places and even what times to go. Uzbek history is super lengthy and complicated but I definitely got a better sense of it through the tour. He also answered everyone’s questions extremely thoroughly. Again, I don’t think I would have enjoyed Bukhara as much without Laziz - I cannot recommend him enough!! If you’re in Bukhara, take this tour.

I’ve traveled more than 50 cities, joined countless walking tours, Alex, is one of the best guide! He is very knowledgeable, passionate, friendly and funny. It’s not easy for six of us to understand the long and complicated history of Uzbekistan but his way of explaining made everything easy to understand. It was a hot summer day (almost 40), but he was very patient to took us around the ancient city. Very knowledgeable and funny. We highly recommend Alex !
