I really enjoyed our walking tour with Ravshan. He’s a really fun guy and took us around all the things to see in Buchara, gave us insight in the history and daily life and gave us some recommendations for restaurants. I can highly recommend!

Abbiamo fatto il tour con Erkin in uno dei giorni più caldi dell'anno, nonostante questo lui è stato molto gentile, professionale e preciso. Ci ha spiegato vari aspetti sia dell'architettura, che della storia e dello stile di vita dell'uzbekistan. È stato un tour interessante ed esaustivo, abbiamo potuto fargli molte domande e ci ha dato diversi consigli. Molto simpatico, lo consigliamo!

Questo tour ha completamente soddisfatto le nostre aspettative. Erkin parla un ottimo italiano e le sue spiegazioni sono sempre state chiare, precise e puntuali. Si è dimostrato molto disponibile, rispondendo con piacere a tutte le nostre domande sulla cultura uzbeka e andando ben oltre la semplice descrizione dei monumenti, condividendo interessanti approfondimenti sulla vita e sulle tradizioni locali. Sono state tre ore davvero piacevoli e coinvolgenti. Consigliamo vivamente questo tour e, soprattutto, Erkin come guida.

Ravshan was an excellent tour guide - taking us around all the best parts of Bukhara's old town. He was super friendly and knowledgeable. He answered literally every question we could ask and seemed to genuinely love showing us his home town. All round great experience and we loved his use of the iPad! He had a great selection of photos to give more context. 10/10 would recommend!

Maks was absolutely fantastic. She knew every detail about Bukhara’a history in and out and was ready to answer questions big and small. She always ensured we had a place to sit in the desert heat and the 3.5 hours rushed past.

We had a good time with Maks. She is a good guide, didn't bore out with dates and managed to sustain a perfect deepness of information. Maybe this is too much asked for a 3h tour in a city with a rich history, but in the end I did not find myself truly understanding Bukhara - the dots were not connected. Also, I find it disturbing to make a payment recommendation right after booking the tour ("...Guruwalk platform recommends payment range from 15 Euro to 50 Euro for each participant depending on the satisfaction of the tour. Please confirm your participation and send me personal message here if you are OK with that. If not, please cancell in a timely manner. (...)"). That destroys the whole concept of free walking tours. I understand there is a financial risk for people not paying. But in my experience, a exceptional tour always gets a good payment!

Maks è una guida molto preparata. Parla benissimo inglese e risponde a tutte le domande di curiosità. Il tour dura circa 3h 30 min che passano veloci e piacevolmente grazie anche alle tante piccole tappe in tutti i luoghi più salienti di Bukhara. Assolutamente consigliata! Grazie!

Maks knows so much about Bukhara ! She shared with us historical data, but also information about craft and arts, and culture / religion. She even helped me make a booking for a local hammam. She always left time for making beautiful pictures. I have to admit I did not remember all the names of the places we visited, maybe it might be useful to show in advance a map of the itinerary and main points so we can actually picture where we are. Thank you Maks

Ancient Bukhara on the Silk road

I had an amazing time on this tour! Ravshan is very knowledgeable and passionate about the history of Bukhara. One thing I really loved was that he showed us old photos of the city, which made it so much easier to imagine what Bukhara looked like in the past. The tour was interesting, engaging, and full of fascinating stories. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bukhara!
