Cáceres is a town located in the autonomous community of Extremadura, in the westernmost part of Spain. Founded by the ancient Romans, it still maintains vestiges of the cultures that occupied the place, highlighting a varied architecture between the Gothic and Renaissance styles in the part of the old quarter with cobblestone streets from the medieval period, as well as fortified buildings.
