I chose and booked the ‘Valencia essential tour’ through for 12 noon on /2018 in English . I received a confirmation email, in English, with the day and time I requested. I received a reminder email, in English from on the day in question. We arrived just before 12hrs only to be told by a lovely young Spanish girl that there was no English walking tour available on that day??? The people gathering for the 12 noon walk were all Spanish as that was the only one available. She apologised, but clearly there was nothing she could do. Therefore I can not comment on the free walking tour, but felt completely let down by

This is very unusual, since usually the morning tours are always available (you may find a full group, but no group at all is very unusual).
After looking for your reservation, indeed, that day the english tour wasn't available at 12:00pm since the guide assigned to that tour got sick that morning. That's why it's important to provide us with a phone number, as we request, so we can contact you in case of unforeseen. We didn't get any phone number so we couldn't contact you.
We are sorry that you had that experience and we hope to have you with us some other time.
