I wish I had met Mahmoud on my first day in Cairo instead of the last day. He is an amazing guide, incredibly knowledgeable and down to earth. Super patient, fun and amazing in photo taking. He’s the best guide I’ve met on my five days in Cairo. From exchanging money to booking tours, from asking local price for food to transport options for intercity travels, tips for literally whatever you want to do in Cairo, you can ask him. He’s also very flexible in adjusting the tour durations and locations to fit our preference. The tour is not just about historical sites but also the day to day life in Cairo now. Strongly recommend the felucca trip after the afternoon working tour. Overall an amazing experience - best do it the first day upon arrival.
I had half a day in Casablanca today and contacted Chakib last night. He was quick in responding to messages and the meet up at cafe France was very straightforward. The tour was great and very chilled. It felt more like chatting with a friend and understanding the city he lives in and the lives of local people than a touristic tour, which I really like. The length of the tour was also perfect.
