So interesting from a local perspective with lots of juicy tidbits about the neighborhood, oddities, traditions, and landmarks. Being a former professor, Diego certainly knows his history and current events. It was fascinating to learn of the daily lives and routines of this working class neighborhood. It was like walking around for a couple of hours with a good friend giving you the scoop on the area. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tour. One of the best I've taken!
Our guide proved to be enthusiastic, engaging, and very good at exposing first time visitors to Oaxaca’s rich and varied history. One segment of the tour explored Mexico’s checkered political history through the work of local artists, which - at least for this tourist - served only to further pique my interest in this culture. I highly recommend this tour group!
