We are 82 and 78 so this hike was more than “easy to moderate” for us. It was difficult, and I was not able to complete it, but my husband did…..and said we shouldn’t try to do any more hikes like this one. The guides, Angelos and Panos, are wonderful, and Panos helped me back down which I couldn’t have done without him. They are both pleasant and helpful so we highly recommend them to all younger hikes.
We really enjoyed this walking tour. Our guide was full of knowledge and enthusiasm. The only thing we would have liked better was warmer weather.
Luca has to be the most knowledgeable guide for Civitavecchia. The information he gave to us during the walk was amazing - full of dates, names, etc. We have a much better understanding now of how this city evolved into the one we now visit. His enthusiasm and passion is wonderful!
Hernan is an excellent guide, and we thoroughly enjoyed our walk with him. We saw some of the same places the next day and realized how much prettier so many of the buildings look at night. It was the first time we have gone on a night walk, and now we will look for more of them to do. Not only does Hernan know a lot about his city, but we liked his passion and positive outlook. We highly recommend him!
Jeronimo is an excellent guide who told us the entire story about bit coin. He is very friendly and fun to be with so we thoroughly enjoyed our time with him. It was both educational and fun.
