I was disappointed that when I arrived the group was split between multiple guides and I was not allowed the opportunity to go with the guide from the advertisement. I was forced to go with a guide who, while informational, was not a local and who didn't seem to have as much depth in the history of the city. Considering I only had one day to tour and learn about the city, I felt this was a disservice and false advertising on behalf of the tour company.
When I arrived for the tour, the guide told me he couldn't give it in English because only two people signed up for English and everyone else spoke Portuguese. I don't understand why they would offer this iron and then refuse to follow through rather than accommodate all speakers. I was very disappointed and left.
