Definitely worth braving the scorching sun! Laura is truly passionate and knowledgeable about China's history. The ancient wall came alive in that 2.5hours and we learned so much about the history and meanings behind the names and idioms etc. Excellent narrative. We met up with her again a few days later at a museum - yes, she is THAT good - definitely the best decision of this trip! I suspect she can go on for 24 hours non stop, or maybe more! Fantastic tour. We came home with a newfound appreciation for this ancient city. Will be back again for sure!
Had such an amazing time today cycling with Laura! She was extremely informative, teaching us facts not only about the walls but she was also very knowledgeable of China’s history as a whole. I really recommend this tour because you will be able to see many things you normally won’t be able to if you just decided to walk. Cycling allowed us to reach many points that had cool and interesting facts. Last but not least, Laura really went the extra mile to make the tour informative and comfortable for us. She answered all our questions so passionately and made our trip to Xi An so enjoyable! Highly recommend!!

Unfortunately, the guru didn't show up at the agreed meeting point. I sent several messages and waited 45 minutes, but I haven't received a response yet. This cost me a lot of time, which is a pity. A cancellation would be fine, but no response is not ok.
Laura was a masterful storyteller of both Xi’an and Chinese history! We had a magical time - a biking tour with Laura is a must-do experience when visiting Xi’an! Highly recommended and a great way to start a visit to the new city.
