This tour was a highlight of my trip! Thank you, Nathalia! Someone who had recently visited Rio de Janeiro recommended I visit Vidigal to get a chance to see a vibrant part of real Rio de Janeiro culture. Hands down was one of my favorite parts of my trip, and Nathalia made each moment safe, fun, and informative. We got to take motos up through Vidigal, meet with locals and appreciate local art, dance, food, and we even got to see some monkeys. But beyond the beauty, Nathalia was educating us on daily life in Vidigal, and it made me appreciate that I had a guide who blended fun and education into this tour. I learned her Instagram is cariocastourbr on Instagram if you want to book other types of tours with her (hikes, etc)! Hope to make it back to Rio again soon.
What a great way to start my trip to Rio! Nathalia, the tour guide, took us to a real and immersive tour in the favela. She brought us closer to the community and told us facts about the place. As she knows a lot of people there (and they love here!), I felt super safe. I recommend this tour for those who really wants to know Rio. Thanks Nat for this super fun day!
