Saludos. Soy José, he vivido en Sucre gran parte de mi vida. Aunque mi formación en la universidad no fue sobre Turismo o historia; conocer y aprender sobre nuevas culturas y conocer sus historias siempre me ha encantado. Sucre ha mantenido un balance entre sus raíces indígenas, coloniales y mestizas, lo que la hace una ciudad por demás interesante, con muchos colores e historias y también datos muy interesantes.
Sucre es una ciudad muy segura, una ciudad demográficamente joven y con un costo de vida accesible.

En este recorrido reviviremos la historia y los orígenes indígenas de la ciudad. Veremos tejidos hechos a mano por gente indígena, misma gente descendiente de los locales que estuvieron antes de la colonia española y todavía perduran en la actualidad.

Sucre albergó una importante parte de la sociedad colonial y conoceremos parte de la influencia que todavía se puede apreciar estos días. La ciudad de Sucre es muy orgullosa de su mezcla cultural, esto es algo que apreciaremos durante el recorrido.

On his point we'll be walking on the place where the city was founded in the 16th century. This nowadays, is one of the most historic and popular places in town. Visitors will be able to take pictures from the viewpoint, enjoy the interesting style and arquitecture of the area. In addition they'll spot the beautiful mountains and hills that surround the city.
The current main square has quite interesting monuments that are highly meaninful to the city. There are some governmental and religious buildings as well. Most of the buildings in downtown are post colonial, some are colonial though, and we'll be able to appreciate them on the way. Visitors will have some extra tips and recommendations to follow after the tour.
The Central Market is a really dynamic place of business. This is a really colourful and curious way with many surprises, and by far the most popular market to get supplies from in town. At this point visitors will be able to interact with the sellers, purchase something if they wish or just take their time to go on further questions about the local production of food.
This is one of the most popular areas in town for sure. With a raw design from the last years of colonies. The once called "Paseo del Prado", now is a peaceful place that offer areas for exercising and chilling for every local or visitor. This is a place with very interesting features and some very important national governmental buildings as well. At this point visitos will have time to take pictures and appreciate the beauty of this green area.
