Great tour! Our guide, a young Estonian man with a degree in history, was extremely knowledgable about all of the sites we visited and anything and everything he was asked. He also had a very engaging way of storytelling and elegantly interwove "official" history, popular legend and attitudes, personal experiences and even some great tips on how to enjoy the city, which gave some very enjoyable insight into the Estonian people's sense of humor and relationship with their country. I would have loved to hear the country's so-called "pre-history", the history of the indigenous peoples of Europe, spoken of with more respect and appreciation, but the lack thereof is a general phenomenon in the way patriarchal history is still being told that has nothing to do with our guide in particular. I very much recommend this tour!
