My friend and I went on a free walking tour of Istanbul with our guide Erol and he was wonderful, insightful, informative, fun! We booked it last minute after seeing a few sites and realizing we needed more explanation of things, thankfully TemaTour had someone mazing that could guide us on short notice. I cannot count how many times we said "Wow" out loud at all the interesting facts Erol shared with us, and the extra hidden gems he showed us in Istanbul. Also, the invaluable information he gave us about culture and food and getting around tips for when we continue touring on our own. This is the kind of tour you need first thing, schedule this for as soon as you arrive in Istanbul, it will enhance your trip and give you so much knowledge and awareness of everything you will experience in Istanbul. He spend just over 3 hours showing us around. We loved it, be sure to bring extra Lira to give a nice tip, we gave all we had, he earned that and more! Most common tips per person are 20-50euro depending how much you enjoyed your experience. They only take group of up to 6 people, which is much nicer than those 30 people tours.
