Braulio was a great guide who brought us on a tour that had a slightly different itinerary from the rest. He was also one of few who had a walk on a Saturday afternoon. We used a variety of public transportation which was pretty cool for a someone who’d literally just arrived in Medellin. We took the cable car up to La Sierra, walked around San Antonio station, visited Museo Casa de la Memoria, amongst other locales, leaving Plaza Botero and other more “mainstream” sights to do on your own.
The tour was a great introduction to Havana! Yan was super nice and patient. He brought us to all four squares and gave us the lowdown on Cuba's exciting history. There were only two of us so it was very flexible. We even sat down for a beer and listened to the wonderful Cuban musicians who play throughout the old town. Yan has very convenient timings for those who arrive in Havana in the afternoon. It was excellent.
