A gifted guide. History of the city and of the overall social, political and cultural events for the last 800 years which have shaped Krakow and Poland to where it is now. A sympathetic but optimistic view of humanity through the trials which Poland has faced over this time. Most informative but intellectually and emotionally sustaining too. Five stars
