Harry is one of the best tours guide I had ever meet. Most tour guides give you bits of information about this or that, but Harry is different. As a history lover myself, I recognize that Harry researches, analyses, and synthesizes historical facts; he truly enjoys doing that. Then he gives you valuable and interesting information about the historical events and monuments. He loves what he does and very compassionate about history. Harry, please write that book and I am sure it will be one of the best books that are ever written.

Response from Harry
That's so nice Ikhlas, but it's not true. I have a certain skill at writing but no talent. It took me a lot of years to admit that to myself. I'm very stubborn. Telling stories as a tour guide, yes, in this I have both talent and skill but the immediacy that I can bring to a tour never translates to my work on the page. God. I wish it did. It's just the way it is. Thank you though for the sentiment and the awesome review! H

A great walking tours. Covered a large part of the old medina. Zaim was patient and despite the fact that he was sick he gave me and the other 3 travellers a great tour in the old Medina. In comparison to a walking tour I did in Rabat, this Marrakech walking tour is by far more rich and showed us many historical places and the different sections in the souak. I was the only one in the Rabat tour and that might have affected the guide desire to provide a good tour. I would recommend Zaim to any traveler. Please keep doing the good work you do Zaim.

I was expecting a little more from this walking tour. In comparison to the walking tour I did in Marrakech this waking tour is very very limited and you don’t see much in it. Abdel meet me at Kasbah of the Oudayas and took me into the Kasbah to see the sea, a couple of streets, and the Andalusia garden. Then we walked through the consulate street in the old Medina in our way to Hasan Tower and the Mohammed V mausoleum. After that we said good bye and despite that I gave him a good tip that would a mount to a real professional walking tour. The kind you buy from Expedia. I am a good tipper by nature anyway. After the tip he helped me to get a taxi to go to another historical reviews about this tour are good, but I don’t think I received the normal tour that other reviewers have received. For example, I thought we would visit more spots in the old Medina. Except for the Consulate street and Abdel pointed to a couple of Jewish building I have seen little of the old Medina. May be Abdel underestimated my generosity. And since I was the only one in the tour probably he did not expect a rewarding tip for the tour.

Thank you Ustada Ikhlas! you were guided inside the Kasbah and walked through its Streets and its Moorish café and its Andalusian garden and You saw the panormic view. More than that you were given deep and complete explanation about the history of the place. You were guided inside the old Medina through its famous and historical "rue des consuls" with its bazaar shops. After that you were guided through the Jewish quarter which a lot don't have the chance to see it when they are in Rabat. We covered the history of the place and talked about its socio-economic situation in the modern day. We headed then outside the old Medina and visited the Mausoleum and the 12 century Hassan tower/unfinished mosque. You were given all the historical facts related to the place both through unfinished mosque and the burial section. You are right then! It's a very limited tour :) It's not fair comparing Rabat with Marrakesh. Marrakesh tours are based mainly on shopping in the medina and I am not a Guide looking for commissions from shops. I'm into history and culture. Enjoy Ustada :)
