Our tour guide was Diogo and he was, in all seriousness, the most engaging, funny, informative and all around awesome guide that I have ever had. The tour itself provided a great overview of the area and a walk that let you see some sights by walking and learn about others from a distance. The guide Diogo is what made the tour so much more outstanding. If he wanted he could have taken us to McDonald’s and I’m sure it would have been the most entertaining yet interesting tour ever as well. Well done to him he was fantastic.
I thought this was a great tour and introduction to the sites of Bologna in and around the main piazza. The walk was efficient, paced well, and Paolo did a good job to provide information on the walks between sites too. I appreciate that at the beginning of the tour he nicely asked whether we preferred history, food, culture, or just a mix of everything, so that gave us an opportunity to hear more of our preference and he was open to input. It was a great way to get a quick lay of the land before heading off to explore the rest of the city.
