This was less of a cultural immersion walking tour and more of a walk with a companion who knew where they are going. Youness was friendly enough but didn’t really give us any information or history on Rabat. He showed us the Hassan tower, the mausoleum, Kasbah and souk as outlined but at each location we were left to ourselves to take pictures. The highlight was actually when we stopped for a tea and one of his friends who was a official tour guide was there and he gave us an outline of the history of the dynasties. Wasn’t an unpleasant experience, just not what we expected.
