We were very lucky to get the lovely Daniela to ourselves as our personal guide to the architecture and history of Bucharest. Her knowledge and enthusiasm for the city was obvious at all times and she kept us interested throughout with her humour and stories concerning the various areas we visited. Our understanding of the City and its often turbulent past is now greatly enhanced and we will return home with a much better understanding of Bucharest and the country as a whole. I would definitely recommend a guru tour as like us you have probably passed numerous buildings which mean little to you until the history is explained by a guide such as Daniel.
