I had the greatest pleasure of being led around Athens by Sam earlier today. Sam portrays a very warm motherly figure while leading her group of mostly young tourist around all over the world - safety and comfort is an important part of her tour - she doesn't rush through the various landmarks and looks out for traffic while we are listening to her sharing. She is very knowledgeable in her history of Greece and Athens and makes an effort to share such information to her tour group. You can tell that she loves the country and city so much because of her enthusiasm when she shares. This tour is really a very good idea as Sam takes time to orientate her group around the city, and even share local tips as to where to get good food, local produce and even information as to where to hop onto the bus to the airport. I strongly recommend that anyone books this tour with Sam on your first day in Athens. Even after the tour, Sam takes the time to message each and everyone of her tour group privately with suggestions where to go and what to do.
