Gioia

My name is Gioia, I am an official tourist guide in Italian, Spanish and English and I have been living in Madrid for about 10 years. I arrived here for the first time in 1997 with the Erasmus project and fell in love with the city, and I certainly never imagined living there again many years later and starting a family.

Bachelor of Arts and specialized in History of Modern Art, I have worked for many years at the Borghese Gallery in Rome. I am fond of seventeenth-century painting and offer my guests the most varied tours: monuments, museums, gardens and visits to historic taverns. I feel at home in the Prado Museum, with which I have collaborated in several publications, but I also like to explore the small museums that are equally extraordinary and less crowded, as well as the magnificent surroundings of Madrid: from Toledo to Segovia, from Escorial to the windmills of La Mancha.

My passion and experience are available to all visitors: from the individual traveler to families, schools and groups.
