Denver Walking Tours (DWT) was founded by Jill and Matt in early 2015. Jill (a Sconie) and Matt (a Kiwi) met while both were living in Sydney, Australia about fourteen years ago, and spent the next decade traveling around the world to 47 countries, whenever they had the chance, around their full-time jobs.
"We believe that everyone should have access to a great walking tour experience, regardless of budget, which is why we launched Denver Walking Tours as a tour guide cooperative, offering high-quality, interactive, free walking tours and low-cost, paid walking tours as a way to have some fun, work with amazing people, and share the great sights, landmarks, and history that make our Mile High City so unique with both locals and people from all over the world!
We live in downtown Denver, love the city, and only wished there was a free walking tour available back when we moved to beautiful Colorado years ago to give us the scoop on all the great sights, history, culture, and fun places to check out around town.
