I had a wonderful experience with our guide, Claudia. She was incredibly nice, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the city and its history. What made the tour especially memorable was her enthusiasm - you could really see how much she enjoys her work, and that energy made the whole experience even more engaging. Claudia didn’t just show us the main sights. She also took us to several hidden corners and pointed out small details that we would never have noticed on our own. She explained the stories behind the buildings, shared interesting historical facts, and kept the group entertained the entire time. One of the fun surprises was that she brought a can of the famous Scottish soft drink Irn-Bru and let us try it, which was such a nice and thoughtful local touch. Overall, it was a warm, friendly, and very enjoyable experience. If you’re visiting Edinburgh, I would highly recommend taking this tour with Claudia - you’ll learn a lot, see hidden spots, and have a great time exploring the city with someone who truly loves sharing its story.
Claudia was absolutely amazing and kind! She is an incredible guide who keeps you entertained with fascinating city stories and interesting gems stories. We were a small group of 4 but our tour guide was engaging and while not a local was well versed and knew the history. We always do a walking tour the first day of visiting a city to orientate ourselves and get some insights. It didn’t disappoint.
