We really enjoyed this walking tour with Eziquiel and were fascinated, not only by Marseille's ancient history, but also by the city's recent efforts to become a world class tourism destination. We especially appreciated learning about the authentic soap of the region and having the perspective of a guide who was once a visitor but now a true lover and citizen of this interesting city. Excellent guide - lots of historical information
Chock full of interesting information. Marseille in context—the Greeks, Napoleon, the Nazis, the past decade’s efforts to become a tourist destination. Ezequiel even shared his own story building his life as a recent immigrant. Tour was THE highlight during my 3-day visit. *****
