I was really liked the guide's approach to history and culture of the city and the region using everyday objects, showing us and giving us a taste of a local's life. He was super patient and we felt free to linger on, ask more questions about certain things - it was a really informative and interesting walk! thank you
We had a long and very interesting visit, Ravindra is a very professional guide. Fully recommended!!
It was third day for us in city but ravindra took us to science places in jodhpur.Ravindra was very polite and knowledge of history,Informative about blue city .Ravindra was kind enough to keep asking about water and masala tea.Like proper guide he delivered right with modes.we got really good recommendation roof top rest Dev koti.we enjoyed the tour and highly recommend.
We truly recommend Ravindra for many different reasons. First, the communication by messages before starting the tour was already very good. He was flexible about the timing and place of meeting. Second, he has deep knowledges about the city and can tell you also different stories over different topics. He guided us through the blue city but also through the different markets , making us tasting various foods and letting us the time to interact with local people. He gave us the space for discover and enjoy the city. Third: He is also a very good photographer 😉. We feel very lucky that we met Ravindra . Thank you again!!!
I will start with the only warning: if you are afraid of dogs, do not take this your as there are many strays in the old town! Ravi did a good job keeping them away, though. We walked through many beautiful areas and Ravi was always happy to take a photo of me, often suggesting good places to stand. He offered a lot of interesting information about the architecture of the old city, along with information about Indian daily life, and some great thoughts about Hindu spirituality and philosophy. His accent is just a little thick, but I got used to it very fast and he encouraged me to ask him to repeat and explain if I didn't understand. Definitely recommend this tour and this guide.
