I did Kapila's walking tour and it ended up being just me, which turned out to be a real bonus. He was brilliant company from start to finish. He answered all of my many questions with patience and genuine knowledge, and he was engaging and easy to spend a few hours with. He also gave great recommendations for what to do afterwards, so I left with a plan for the rest of my day. I'd highly recommend this walking tour to anyone. Thank you!

A fantastic tour where we found out so much about Colombo and what it's like to live in Sri Lanka. Informative and useful and tailored to us. We were lucky enough to be the only 2 on the tour and had Information shared thatvwe could use on the rest of our trip. We have used Guru walk before and would definitely use again

Indika a fantastic guide! We were just 2 people on the tour so it was almost a private tour. I learned a lot about Sri lanka and even tried Sri lankan specialties like the wood apple and Hoppers. I really enjoyed the temple and the short bus ride with the local bus. Indika is very knowledgeable and made us feel very welcomed! I would highly recommend to book Indika’s tour when you are Colombo!

Wonder full guide and tour

Colombo: Storia, Cultura e Vita Locale Attraverso Occhi Stranieri

I was the only one on the tour because now it's low season in Sri Lanka, so I had Indika just for me. The tour covers most of the must visit spots in Colombo and as European I generally love walking through the cities, so I enjoyed my time. Thank you Indika for showing me your hometown!

Indika was a great guide! He's very knowledgeable and eager to explain everything about his country and cultures and answer any questions we might have. He did an exclusive tour for me and my partner and was very considerate of our wishes to stop and take pictures whenever we wanted (even if it was just a bird :)) or to try fruits at the market. I really appreciated the small things like showing us a coconut oil ritual for couples to give each other blessings. Highly recommended!

Kapila is a great guide who happily shares the history, culture and his knowledge of Sri Lanka and Colombo throughout the 3 hour tour. He was unflustered by the torrential rain and kept us entertained and well fed and watered trying local street foods along the way. Would definitely recommend a tour with Kapila.
