Super-knowledgeable, resourceful and fun Guru Walk guides Xyra and her aunt Anna were amazing tour guides in Manila! I especially loved the tour of the creatively-decorated Chinese-Filipino Museum, and the tour through the market place. Xyra and Anna had endearing personalities, and shared fascinating aspects of Filipino history, as well as their favorite foods and places. I highly recommend their tour for a genuine feel of the Filippino culture (and the kindness of the Filippino people!)

Xyza is very knowledgeable about the Philippines history. She did a great job explaining the history in a chronological order. I highly recommend her tour for anyone who wants a good history lesson about the Philippines.

We had a great time learning about the history of Manila. Xyza was very excited to share her knowledge and culture with us. We got some great tips on what to eat and drink just like the locals. The tour was an overall great experience and worthwhile.

This is a great tour! Our guide was very flexible with the Holy Week holidays and crowds, and easily improvised alternatives on the fly in a very smooth way. Full of history, context, and interesting information. Very kind, knowledgeable, and took great care of us. 10/10.

We enjoyed the tour, a nice mix of past and present. The pace was good, we visited a museum and also walked the small streets with vendors. The end of the tour was at the cathedral. I’m so glad I booked this tour

Xyza was very knowledgeable and very clear in her presentation, she explained what the tour would comprise and also allowed time for trying new treats. Xyza was also very good at making sure people were able to ask questions and get answers.

Xyza did a great job sharing the history of the Philippines, especially through the Chinatown museum, where you learn about the origins of Filipino arts, craftsmanship, games, liquor, and historic trade routes. As someone born in Manila but raised in Canada, this tour was especially meaningful and helped me better connect with my roots. The tour also covers local fruits, the Divisoria market, and great food spots to try. Since the guided tour is only two hours, I highly recommend spending extra time afterward exploring Chinatown on your own. Overall, it’s a highly recommended tour and a great way to experience the area.
