We went to four taco places that tasted great and were very full afterwards, but we found the experience lacked in information and storytelling. It was quite awkwardly silent and at times difficult to understand the guide. We could’ve easily gone without this tour.

We had a nice tour around centro historico with Erika, but at times the information on the Aztec history (e.g. names) went too fast or without clear explanation which left us wondering. (We did have a small restless child with us so our attention was somewhat divided).

Many visitors may have only heard of San Angel for their renowned Saturday Art Market, which is extensive and certainly worth a visit. But Carlo showed me that San Angel is so much more than that. Be ready to visit some gorgeous churches and private estates with a fascinating history. I even got to learn about how Aztec history collided with Japanese history in the Phillipines ... how cool is that??!!! Not to mention: Did you know that there's a plaque commemorating an Irish hero in the center of San Angel? When you're in CDMX, don't just limit yourself to Centro Historico, Roma and Condesa. For sure, you need to check out Carlo's walking tour of San Angel. It's a blast off the usual tourist path!

Daniel is a passionated and warm guy, born and raised in MC. The tour was very intimate (3p) so you could ask him everything right away. However, it was only his second tour and not everything was planned out perfectly. We would definitely recommend his tour, especially for everyone who wants to get to know some folklore about MC. :)
