Apostolis was an excellent guide and told us a lot about Macedonia as well as taking us to many interesting places on the tour of the Old Town of Ohrid. The stops we made were really good and we even went back to the pearl shop and bought some jewellery in the afternoon. A great tour with a great guide

Very nice evening walk around Ohrid. You will see spots worth exploring, get food, drinks and shopping recommendations and have a chance to ask as many questions as you want. Pleasant way of spending an evening in an interesting company.

Damien is new at walking tours but it’s clear he was incredibly thoughtful and considerate when creating his. He gives more of an authentic “locals” perspective than any other commercial free walking tour I’ve been on. Comparable to places where tourism isn’t industrialized yet. it’s clear he didn’t attempt to copy a template for a walking tour and did his own thing which is why I loved it so much. He is generous with his time and appears to be doing this out of the goodness of his heart. It’s clear he’s really concerned for the well being of his guests and wants to treat them. Many of the stops avoided the crowded tourist destinations and focused on the hidden gems of Ohrid. He’s also conscious of the group size so the tour can be more intimate and he can spend time engaging with his guests. He felt more like catching up with a friend, rather than a tour guide. It’s truly unlike anything I’ve seen in the tourism industry. He’s one of the good ones and I highly recommend you sign up for his tour to get a real locals perspective.

The tour provided a fantastic overview of the city's rich history and cultural heritage. Damian was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about Ohrid, offering insightful commentary and answering all our questions with enthusiasm. The tour took us through the winding streets of the old town, showcasing beautiful landmarks such as the Church of St. Sophia, the Ancient Theatre, and the iconic hidden view of Ohrid (just for locals). We managed to avoid most of the crowded area which was a very big plus. Each stop was well-chosen and presented in an engaging manner. The pace of the tour was comfortable, allowing us to fully absorb the surroundings and take plenty of photos. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Ohrid. Note: Tip well, the guy is worth it 😉
