We more or less had a private tour with Josue because we were the only ones.
The tour was very interesting and Josue had a lot to tell he really knew a lot.
The route we walked was surprisingly but it told the history of the city in the right way.

Great walking tour in Ubeda. Our guide, Josue, was so knowledgeable. He kept us enthralled for over two hours with the history of Ubeda and the amazing architecture.

Josue knows a lot about the local history and this makes for a fascinating tour. He goes really in-depth about the 16th century golden age of Ubeda and its main character Francesco de Los Cobos. He enjoys pointing out details, which make the tour fascinating for history buffs like myself. Good main enthusiasm means that he carries everyone along on the tour. Also, he speaks a good English, which is somewhat of a rarity in this mainly Spanish touristy area.

Juse is both knowledgeable and passionate about ubeda ( and I’m sure about Baeza too). I learnt enough of the complex history to appreciate the significance of the buildings and the impact of the key personalities of the town

The tour starts in the early morning, which makes the whole tour has a very antique atmosphere. Josué is really professional and very knowledge with all the history and details of buildings, my boyfriend and I had learned so much and had a very quality time. Definitely recommend to join the tour with Josué!
