We didn’t have the best experience on this tour. Firstly, our guide was over half an hour late, which certainly started us off on a bad foot. While he was knowledgeable about the stops we did make, we managed to miss three stops including: Ta Hien street, the temple/pagoda to learn about Vietnamese religion, and Long Bien bridge. We felt like we did far too much walking and not a lot of touring. They don’t have a set price on the website but they will personally send their set price via WhatsApp. We also had to pay for our guides entry into a museum, which we thought was odd especially given he asked for beyond the set price at the end of the tour. He did, however, take us to a restaurant to try an interesting soup, which we wouldn’t have tried otherwise. If you take this tour, perhaps come prepared with your own personal expectations to communicate to the guide that could improve the experience.

Phuong is a great girl, I really enjoyed meeting her and she's very friendly, punctual and easy to talk to. However I was disappointed by the quality of the tour concerning facts and information -- it was more of a walk with some generic facts about Hanoi than a real free walking tour. She didn't explain much about the history of Viet Nam or Hanoi, and gave very short explanations about the spots we visited. At the Temple she said I could read the explanation on the wall instead of explaining it to me. The tour was meant to last 2.5 hours and only lasted 1.5 hours. If you're looking for an informative tour, I'd recommend you tried something else.

Hi Mariana. Thank you so much for spending time to write the review. I appreciated it. 1. Normally, I'll give the general informations first, so tourist they can ask anything they concern about. Then I expained more, but it seems you're not interested in, so you didn't ask question. 2. The temple is only destination that you read information on the wall, cause I want to share the information that you can not find by yourself. At other stops I shared about the legend in Hoan Kiem lake, the culture in Vietnam. 3. When I asked to buy ticket (50 cents) to visit the Ancient House, you didn't want to go inside and said that you'll go later. Normally I often spend 1 hour there to talk about the culture, life style in Vietnam, it can be consider the main stops of the tour. And now you complained that it's shorter than 2.5 hours and lack the information. I'm so sorry but I can't understand. 4. The tour has only you and I'm still happy to walk around and share information for you about Hanoi, Vietnam under the heat 40 degree Celsius. I wish I hadn't done this tour. Kind regards, Phuong
