About the tour

Hi Everyone

Let's visit this lovely place where you could take the best picture of Havana, on top of that hill, where it is the statue, and you could also discover this magic neigborhood Casablanca, where for a long time they have been using the electrical train. we start our trip taking a bout at the Havana Ferri terminal, (see the picture of the tour I put the picture of the terminal ), that you have to pay apart to the goverment a low price.

The figure of Christ is standing with the right hand held near the chin and the left hand near his chest. Facing the city, the statue was left with empty eyes to give the impression of looking at all, from anywhere to be seen.

The sculpture, located in the Havana suburb of Casablanca, in the municipality of Regla, was inaugurated on La Cabaña hill on December 24, 1958. Just fifteen days after its inauguration, on January 8, 1959, Fidel Castro entered Havana during the Cuban Revolution.

Later we will go by walking to see the Cabana and the

Morro Castle, , a fortress guarding the entrance to Havana bay in Havana, Cuba. The design was drawn up by the Italian engineer Battista Antonelli; originally under the control of Spain, the fortress was captured by the British in 1762, and was returned to the Spanish under treaty terms a year later. Built initially in 1589 in response to raids on Havana harbor, el Morro protected the mouth of the harbor with a chain being strung out across the water to the fort at La Punta.

At the end of the tour you could enter to The Morro castle, and spend sometime inside, that cost 6 cuc to pay to the goverment or just take some picture of Havana outside.

Remember leave me your comments of the tour,

bye have a good day l
