If you are a visitor in Athens and you're interested in its history and culture join our tour! If you'd like to get to know the city centre, but also its people and gastronomy don't hesitate.
We are going to see monuments, squares, buildings and churches and the beautiful neighbourhoods of the city centre.
Let's meet at Omonia square just outside the metro station (red and green line- exit Athinas) and start by visiting the market (Varvakios agora). We'll walk to Monastiraki and Plaka where you can buy souvenirs to Acropolis, where you can visit the museum and the rock.
Some of the sights are:
-statue of Pericles
-Monastiraki square
-Aghia Irini church
-the city hall
-the Roman agora
-Varvakios agora and a lot more!
It will last about 1,5 hours.
Anyone can join us as long as they fancy getting to know beautiful Athens! Make sure you have your comfortable shoes and a cap/hat. It's recommended that you book a tour a week before and you will surely get a message with details. I can explain and also provide you with info about activities, sights, transport, restaurants etc

Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
