Be Local Tours Barcelona is a local, socially responsible and eco-friendly tour company created in 2017 by three friends: Carlos, Patrick and Riccardo. We adopt a small group philosophy of no more than 16 persons per tour to give our customers the best experience and to respect the daily rhythm of the locals. We also help fighting global warming: for every 100 people that join our tours we plant a tree in Colombia with a local NGO. We have already planted more than 100 trees! ;-) Our tours based on entertaining storytelling, historical accuracy and a friendly approach have delighted thousands of enthusiastic travellers and received high ratings and reviews. About the tour

Prepare to experience the “dark” side of Barcelona: a city of sex, drugs and absinthe and an iconic destination for travellers looking for fun since the 19th Century. Follow us to famous and lesser known corners of Barrio Gótico and Raval districts to find out the historical bars where Hemingway used to drink, the location of Picasso’s favourite brothel and the story of the first gay pride in history! Meanwhile listen to the amazing stories of famous thieves, drug-dealers and anarchists that forged the legend of “Barrio Chino” (Chinatown), one of the craziest and most surprising downtown areas in Europe.
