Are you looking for a historical tour, full of dates, characters and data that you will forget in the blink of an eye? Insurance? At Go Zeppelin Tours we are convinced that to know a new place not only the data is useful, but also what we experience while discovering it is essential. We are a team of guides accredited by the government of Hungary, in love with Budapest, who one day decided to roll the blanket over our heads and we started to tell you the history of this city in a totally different way. Of course we are going to give you dates, data, battles, anecdotes, kings, but we are also going to talk to you about politics, art, religion and we will talk about some of the most controversial moments in the history of this country in order to understand its current events. Go Zeppelin Tours we are guides but we are also travelers like you. We know that after a tour there is very little information that is retained, so our goal is not to teach history but to understand it. We tell you already, you will not remember any date when you get home but the history behind those numbers yes. You will leave with the certainty that you have known the city from a unique and real point of view, far removed from the idyllic and fictional image that most of the tourist guides offer you.
If it looks like Berlin, Vienna, East Paris, etc. It is said that the comparisons are odious and with us you will discover that Budapest is Budapest, a city with a unique, unrepeatable personality and with its own name. We can not concentrate the fascinating history of Budapest in just two hours, but we can help you get to know it better through a lightning trip through the most relevant events of your past, calling things by their names. We will remember the greatness of the Astro-Hungarian Empire and how it completely changed the appearance of this city, we will discover what happened during the Second World War and the true role played by Hungary as Hitler's ally, we will talk about the communist stage and the Revolution of 56 that almost ended the government and yes, of course, we will also talk about Sissi although from a slightly different perspective ... And here we can tell. An indispensable tour to have a first contact with the history of Hungary and its incredible capital. What you will discover with us on this tour: ▪Hungarian Parliament ▪Communist Era and the Revolution of 1956 ▪Soviet Heroes Monument ▪Monument to the victims of the Nazi’s occupation ▪Chain Bridge ▪Danube River ▪Saint Stephen’s Basilica ▪Sissi’s Square and the “Budapest Eye” Observations: The tour does not include any visits to the interior of the monuments, all the buildings that can be visited require the payment of an entrance and have their own private guides. Groups of 6 or more people should check availability in advance and special conditions will be applied. A minimum number of 10 participants will be necessary to guarantee the departure of the free tour.
