OFFICIAL GUIDE of the Valencian Community and Graduate in JOURNALISM from the University of Valencia. I was born in Granada but I grew up in Benidorm. The pandemic forced me to leave ITALY and return home in April 2020, after 7 years as a tour organizer and tour guide in ROME. But when one door closes, another opens and today, VALENCIA is my new adventure, the same one that I want to share with you.
The visit allows the visitor to discover two of the main temples of the city, the Papal Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore and the Cathedral of Rome, San Juan de Letrán. Likewise, other temples are visited where the most important relics related to the life of Jesus Christ are kept. 1.- Basilica of Santa María la Mayor. Patroness of Rome. The cradle of the baby Jesus. Bernini's tomb. 2.- Church of Santa Práxedes. Paleo-Christian mosaics and column of the flagellation of Christ. 3.- Cathedral of San Juan de Letrán. Papal chair. 4.- The Holy Stairs. From the temple of Pontius Pilate. 5.- Church of the Holy Cross of Jerusalem. The relics of the Crucifixion and the holy sheet. Tour duration: 3 hours. The visit can end with a good 'Gelato' in the oldest ice cream parlor in Rome, Giovanni Fassi, open to the public since 1880.
