Nature and culture beyond the walls in la boquilla!

My Name's Danelis Diaz. I'm a student of foreign languages. come with me in a walking tour around my neighborhood La boquilla, declared a protected afrocolmbian comunity by the national goverment in 2009.

This is a pitoresque neighborhood inhabited mostly by afrocolombians next to atlantic ocean. We are going to walk and I will show you sites of interest in the comunity, besides of talking about the normal life and history of the place. We'll eat traditional fritos and we could go to a traditional restaurant with amazing food and affordable prices. It's going to be the best fish you'll have in Cartagena!!!

We could also have a canoe trip in the swamp of La virgin , watching birds, fish and the mangrove forest.

If you are interested in meeting real people of Cartagena, observing how they work, live, having a real interaction with locals, taking pictures and ecoturism...I am your girl!

The tour starts at 10 am on saturdays and Sundays and it takes about 2 hours.

*The canoe trip is optional since each client must pay for it. It is not expensive and it is totally worth it. I will be with you th entire time sharing information about the sourrandings and La boquilla itself. It lasts about 45 minutes and during the trip you can watch brids, fish and the beautiful mangrove forest. If you are interested in doing this please tell me beforehand.

Duration of the tour: *Between 2 and 3 hours.
