Freetour Legends and Mysteries of Paris
We are a young team that left Spain in 2009 and we are in London to create this beautiful project. At the request of our "walkers" we grew up in Paris, Dublin, Berlin, Malaga, Cordoba and Budapest, teaching these cities to thousands of Spanish speakers. We are professional guides and we are madly in love with every corner of the cities we teach.
Tour description
Between little streets, we will know the history of the barber and the baker of Rue Chanoinesse, which served as inspiration for the famous legend of Sweeney Todd. In the Notre Dame Cathedral we will talk about miracles and demons, while we discover what is hidden behind the chimeras and gargoyles of its facade. We will also tell ghost stories, such as the appearances that Pablo Picasso witnessed and subsequently inspired some of his best-known works. In addition, we will talk about the origin of the Catacombs of Paris, we will know the name of the best known prisoner of the Conciergerie and we will review the past bloody of the Hôtel de Ville, one of the bloodiest places in Paris.
