During accomplishment of my PhD study in the field of Biomaterial, I got a name from colleagues as science storyteller. I knew I have this ability to convert boring scientific facts into an enjoyable and amusing talks for people, who are not in the same field. Almost in my last phase of my PhD in Germany, I realized I invested my best time of life on a way, which could not bring joy and happiness in to my life. I got this realization really late. I started to follow what my heart said and quitted my PhD at the last phase. I was lost in life and decided to travel around the world. Facing deeply in the culture of South Korea, India and other countries of Asia and comparing them to West culture, where I did my study in high-tech country, Germany, made me a story teller as a Traveler. As Ibn Battuta says: Traveling leaves you speechless, then it turns you to story teller. Talking with different people at each corner of the world proved me how my Iranian culture is not familiar for most people, especially new generation. Then I decided to empower my ability of story telling on culture and social history of Iran for culturally curious travelers. Now, I am proudly the co-founder of Persian walk telling the story of my city for all adventures and Travelers, who want to discover Iran beyond the politic news and censored media.

We came at the time of the new year, so not much was open. I was pleasently surprised to find on google a free walking tour in Iran!

Our tour guide was Mersa and she was so lovely! she took us around in a mix of places in Tehran as most things were closed. We learnt about the city and its people.

I would recommend this tour if you'd like to get your bearings and learn about Tehran from a local!

Thankyou Mersa

Ein "must-do" in Teheran!
