The tour lasts approximately 2 hours. No shopping problems. Description: Visit of the Koutoubia mosque, (12th century) from the outside. Then head towards the Souks crossing one of the typical neighborhoods of the old city called Mouassine. Your guide will help you wander through the colorful labyrinths of the main souks and discover different artisan specialties and hundreds of shops. Pass by the Marrakech Museum, the 16th-century Medersa Ben Youssef University, and the 11th-century Kouba Almoravide before returning to the grand Jama el Fna square. Your guide will show you the addresses of some monuments that you can visit later: Badiaa Palace, Bahia Palace, Tiskiwin Museum, Dar Si Said Museum... From Jemaa El Fna your guide will accompany you through Riad Zitoun Jedid Street to Show you the location of the most visited monument in Marrakech: Bahia Palace. It is possible to walk back to the large square along Avenue Houmane El Fetouaki. NB:
1- This is a short (2 hours), simple and very useful free orientation tour to take at the beginning of your trip for a useful orientation.
2- It is a tour to visit parts of the old city of Marrakech, it is not a historical tour to visit monuments but your guide will show you some monuments along the way that you can visit later.
3- Meeting point: to be at the correct meeting point, you must first be in the big square called JAMAA EL FNA and then look for the post office and I will be in front of the BARID CASH of the post office, with a white hat . and holding a sign that says: Zaim free walking tours. There are two sides of the post office. The main entrance, the big door that faces Jamaa El Fna square, and a small door with a BARID CASH sign on top, in front of the post office that faces a garden. I will be waiting on the other side of the post office, not at the main entrance, but in front of the main entrance of Barid Cash, near the second ATM of the post office (facing the garden) in Jamaa El Fan square. . https://www.google.com/maps/place/Poste+du+Maroc/@31.625862,-7.9912437,17z/data=!4m13!1m7!3m6!1s0x0:0x0! ! 4d-7.989055! 3m4! 1s0xdafee430c6da011: 0x64af00e0d6ee6762! 8m2! 3d31.6249798! 4d-7.9895899

The route is super nice. We see the most important stuff. The guide is very nice as a person but as a tour guide he comes bit of unconventional

Mohamed‘s tour was quite lengthy. He arrived 20 minutes late at the meeting point, which already made the tour start late, and then his slow speed of walking made the tour take even longer than expected. He also didn’t share too much information upfront, although he was quite knowledgeable when answering to questions.

He knows where everything is, and he also knows a lot about the history of Marrakesh. We could also ask whatever questions we wanted. Really nice experience with the guide. I would recommend it to get a good orientation in Marrakesh.
