The experience probably depends on the guide. Our guide’s English was really poor, we could hardly understand him, and thus we did not receive a lot of interesting facts. Too much time was spent visiting cafes and galleries owned by his friends.
6 STARS OUT OF 5!!! We are from NYC and took our 11 Year old daughter and five year old son on this tour under the guidance of Blo Rasta. It was absolutely amazing. We learned about the history of Operation Orion and were moved by the tradegy endured by this wonderful resilient local community. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone. Don't be scared by the rumors that you hear about the danger of Comuna 13. We felt completely safe with our tour guide and would go back again in a heartbeat!!! Tip: Eat the street food and get a cafe limon - they are delicious! 😍❤️👏
We had the chance to meet Esteban for our graffiti tour. He explained us step by step all the graffiti meanings we encounted in our walk with a lots of details. He brought to us a piece of history, what the people from Comuna 13 had pass through during the last 40 years. We ve seen there people full of joy. Definitively I would recomend Esteban!
