Hello! Welcome to Medellin and Comuna 13. We are local guides passionate about urban art, graffitis, our community, its people and its history. As local residents of this Comuna, we lived its past of conflict, but we also lived its great transformation. Join us to show you this incredible place, and let us be your guides and tell you the stories from the experiences that we lived.
If you have come to Medellín you cannot leave without visiting one of its most famous municipalities, La Comuna 13.
For many years it has been the epicenter of wars and confrontations between various groups outside the law, but today it is a sign that it is possible to live in hope, harmony and peace.
In this guruwalk we will tell you how La Comuna 13 went from being the most conflictive and dangerous place in Medellín, to becoming the most visited place in the city thanks to the change it has undergone.
Its streets, its people, its artists, its escalators and its graffiti path are the clear example that after living through the worst years of war and violence, you can be reborn.
We will explain the meaning of the most emblematic graffiti , you will have the opportunity to learn about local initiatives , you will enjoy a sample of music and urban art , you will visit the gallery of a local artist , you will enjoy the best views of the city, there will be food tastings, but Above all, you will have the opportunity to appreciate and understand La Comuna , its houses, its landscapes and share with its people. And since a picture is worth a thousand words... I invite you to watch the video of our tour and I dare to live a unique experience in one of the most impressive neighborhoods in Medellín with our free tour!
