I'm Jose Oliveira Junior and I'm a 30 years old brazilian student here in Lisbon sice august. I have master degree in History and I'm doing a Phd in History at Universidade de Lisboa. It's my second time here and my love for this city, it's culture and history only grows. I have experience as a tour guide in Brazil with foreigners travelers and also as a history teacher (wich I thinks helps me in catching attention). I'm excited to show this lovely city to other people and make then falling in love with Lisbon as I did since my first time here.
A tour by some of the most iconic and historical places in Lisbon, wich brings tragic moments of portuguese history beyond it's beauty. We'll talk more about earthquakes, murders, tsunamis and hereges bonfire.
We'll start at Paço do Comércio and by walk we'll see Cais das Colunas, old cafes, Rua Augusta, Rua dos Sapateiros, Santa Justa's elevator and Rossio's Square and Station.

Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
