After leaving my hometown in Spain, I decided to travel around Europe. Portugal and Scotland will always be in my heart, but now it's Greece's turn.
This `Free Tour´ will walk around the most modern part of Athens. We will meet the new Greece, born after the almost 400 years Turkish Occupation. The booming of Neoclassical movement and the willing to honour the ancient Greeks will follow us along the way.
We will walk around the most important Neoclassical places in Athens:
- National Bank
- Old Parliament
- Panepestimiou Square and Athens Trilogy
- Numismatic Museum Iliou Melathron
- Syntagma Square
- Change of the Guard*
- National Gardens
- Zappeion Exhibition Hall
- Kalimarmaro Stadium
*Subject to change due to festivities or other external causes.
*Only Sundays is the main act, during the week is just the small one.

Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
