We are a young team that left Spain in 2009 and we are in London to create this beautiful project. At the request of our "walkers" we grew up in Paris, Dublin, Berlin, Malaga, Cordoba and Budapest, teaching these cities to thousands of Spanish speakers. We are professional guides and we are madly in love with every corner of the cities we teach.
The Latin Quarter of Paris is named after the famous Sorbonne University , so common that it was to hear students and teachers speak in Latin during the medieval period.
With our guide you will learn about the student revolts of May 68 and the key role that the university played during the “French May.” The presence of the university promoted the cultural development of the area, with some of the best-known cinemas, theaters, bookstores and concert halls in the capital, such as the Odéon Theater or the cafés of Saint-Germain-des-Près , where The intellectuals of the Rive Gauche and other personalities of the 20th century met .
On our walk we will also find churches as old as Saint-Séverin , famous for its pointed tower and its medieval bells, or Saint Sulpice , the largest in Paris after Notre Dame, and other places of great historical interest, such as the Cluny Museum , the Pantheon , the beautiful Luxembourg Gardens or the controversial Saint-Michel Fountain .
